WELCOME to the Tintern Angiddy Project web site - Installation of a Community-Owned Renewable Power scheme for Tintern, Monmouthshire.

The proposed scheme is unique and ground breaking, the first Micro Hydro power installation to use a 1000 metre pipe to increase the head of water available at the turbine and achieve a substantial increase in power output.

The Angiddy valley, near Tintern, is ideally suited to such a scheme.
